Mechanic Training Sessions

Thank you for your interest in signing up for a Mechanic Training Session! We are training mechanics every Thursday evening from July 18 through Sept. 26 (except August 8) from 7:00p-8:30p in our warehouse at 411 Piquette Ave. in Detroit. Your new skills will not only help us to repair 3,000 bikes for kids in our community this year, but they will also improve your ability to work on your own bike. Sessions will be focused on various skills from changing tires, saddles, pedals, grips, cables and housing, to working on brakes and adjusting a derailleur or a headset. You can bring your own bike if you’d like, but we’ll have some bikes to work on as well. Tools and a bike repair stand are provided by FB4K Detroit, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
