Bike for Humanity’s Global Virtual Bike Ride Supports FB4K!

You may or may not know that UCLA, Portland Trailblazer and Boston Celtic standout and NBA Hall of Famer Bill Walton is an avid cyclist – but all you have to do is ask him: “I love my bike!!!” Bill brought his passion for bikes and helping those most in need together to organize two virtual bike rides, the second of which – Bike for Humanity II – chose FB4K as one of its benefiting charities. The effort was created to help those most affected by the COVID-19 virus and it’s economic impact. Here in Detroit, local pro-cycling legend Frankie Andreu joined a team of Detroit bike club members from Detroit Bikelife and local FB4K volunteers to cycle around the Detroit Riverwalk and Belle Isle to raise money to allow more local kids in our community to receive bikes this holiday season. Thank you to all involved in this global fundraising effort to make a child’s life a little healthier and happier with a bike!
