Help Grease the Wheels
You can get involved by donating a bike or contributing financially. During our season each autumn, we’re always looking for volunteers. Donate a bike, time, or money and help kids ‘go places’!
Donate a Bike
If you missed our 2026 donation day on September 26 you can still donate a bike to FB4K by bringing it directly to our warehouse in Corktown. We’re at 2990 Hubbard St. in Detroit (NOT Dearborn) if you use Google Maps, or 4015 Michigan Ave. if you use Apple Maps (sorry for the confusing difference!). Our working hours are MW 8a-5p. TuTh 8a-8p, Fr 9a-3p, Sa 10a-4p and Su 1p-4p. We’ll be accepting bikes through mid November, then we’ll need to concentrate on what we have in the building. Unfortunately, due to limited resources we are not able to pick up individual bikes. Thank you for your support of Free Bikes 4 Kidz and for helping a child to get started on a happier, healthier life!
Donate Financially
Your donations will help us get more kids back on bikes. We can get a child on a bike with a new helmet for less than $30!!!
You can send a check directly to us, made out to “Free Bikes 4 Kidz Detroit”, which will avoid processing fees. Our address is:
14 Pine Trace, PO Box 82, Glen Arbor, MI 49636
If you would like to donate online with PayPal or a credit card, you can do so by clicking the button below.

Tax Deductions
All items donated to Free Bikes 4 Kidz – Detroit are deductible for income tax purposes at their present fair market value. Internal Revenue Code places the responsibility for estimating the fair market value upon the donor rather than the agency receiving the gift. (Local office of the Internal Revenue advises that “Fair Market Value” is interpreted as that which a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept.) Free Bikes 4 Kidz – Detroit does not provide any goods or services for any property contributed. Click for a printable Tax Receipt for your bike donation.
