You can get involved by donating a bike or contributing financially. During our season each autumn, we’re always looking for volunteers. Donate a bike, time, or money and help kids ‘go places’!
Donate a Bike
We’re gearing up for our massive public bike collection on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9a-2p! To find a donation location near you click here. If you miss our bike donation day, you can always bring a bike down to our warehouse anytime between September 29 and November 15 and drop it off directly – click here to see a map and our hours of operation on our volunteer page. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to pick up individual bikes at residences. Thank you for your support of Free Bikes 4 Kidz and for helping a child to get started on a happier, healthier life!
Donate Financially
Your donations will help us get more kids back on bikes. We can get a child on a bike with a new helmet for less than $30!!!

Tax Deductions
All items donated to Free Bikes 4 Kidz – Detroit are deductible for income tax purposes at their present fair market value. Internal Revenue Code places the responsibility for estimating the fair market value upon the donor rather than the agency receiving the gift. (Local office of the Internal Revenue advises that “Fair Market Value” is interpreted as that which a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept.)
