Save Those Used Bikes! Home Depot to Partner with FB4K

Bike Collection on Saturday, October 2

Do you know where your local Home Depot store is located? Most people do, and this year, that’s an especially good thing as 22 Home Depot locations around Southeast Michigan have partnered with Free Bikes 4 Kidz for our BIG bike collection event on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9a-2p.

No matter where you live in the area, from Lansing to Ann Arbor to Chesterfield Township to Woodhaven, there’s likely a participating Home Depot location within 15 minutes of your home. If you bring an outgrown, dusty old bike to one of these stores on October 2nd, you’ll find a warm reception and some volunteers that are happy to help you unload your bike(s). FB4K will transport each donated set of wheels to our warehouse, clean and repair it and begin its journey to bring joy and independence to another child when we distribute the refurbished bikes just before Christmas. So save some space in the landfill and load that old bike in your car and bring it down to your local Home Depot store – it can change the life of a child in need. Thank you to all our amazing supporters who have donated more than 5,000 bikes in the last three years! Click on the button below for an interactive map showing addresses of the donation sites.
