As we prepare for our collection day at Henry Ford medical centers across metro Detroit on October 5, we have been steadily receiving bikes from various sources – Back Alley Bikes, Holy Spokes, REI and individual donors, so that our warehouse next to the Ford Piquette Museum has 300 bikes in it already! We are excited to see how these numbers will grow on collection day – bring that dusty old bike to a Henry Ford medical center near you and change a child’s life by giving the sense of independence and joy of bike ownership!
