It was a magical atmosphere in the FB4K warehouse on Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10 as over 400 local kids in our community received bikes of their very own! For two days the smiles were everywhere as kids got to come in, get sized for a bike and a helmet, then pick out a bike for themselves. Then of course there was the first ride on that new set of wheels – so much fun for both the kids, the families and our volunteers! Over the next week about 1,600 additional bikes have been sent out to our partner recipient groups (faith-based group, neighborhood groups and schools) who will then distribute them to kids at events in their own communities.
