FB4K Detroit collects 1,300 bikes in 5 hours from 22 Henry Ford Medical Centers!!

FB4K Detroit’s 13 UHaul trucks were criss crossing metro Detroit on Saturday, October 5, picking up hundreds and hundreds of outgrown, dusty bikes from 22 Henry Ford medical centers from Woodhaven to Chesterfield Township and Canton to Grosse Pointe. The medical centers served as drop off locations, as over 100 HFHS employees manned the collection sites helping bike donors part with their beloved 2-wheel rides. Now the biggest pop-up bike shop in Michigan is in business and we need your help to clean and repair these dusty gems so we can give them away to a child this holiday season and give these donated bikes a new life. Click here to volunteer to sign up for a shift to clean or repair our bikes – no skills necessary to be a cleaner!!
